SOLS Shared Resource Facility

Real time PCR in the SOLS SRF is run on an ABI7900HT thermocycler using a 384 well format. Samples are usually set up in respective laboratories. For training on the software and help in experimental setup, please reach out to regenmed@asu.edu. Primers and probes can be designed using ABI Primer Express software.

The Biotek HT1 Plate Reader scans multiple plate types in Absorbance, Fluorescence or Luminescence modes. Training is provided on the software and plate setup.

Room Access

To obtain ISAAC access to LSE S05 - Submit your request using this RegenMed Core Access Form Or email RegenMed@asu.edu.
LSE S-05 requires key access. Users must request SAM box access through the SOLS Facilities office. Authorized users will open the SAM box on the 2nd floor (near the LSC/LSE connecting bridge - It looks like a breaker switch box) with their ASU card and will have access to check out the S-05 key. Should you forget to return a key, the SAM Box will alert the user the same day via email and informs them the key must be returned. If the user does not respond or return the key, all access privileges will be revoked.
