MRI Facility

The MRI Facility provides state-of-the-art imaging resources and experienced clinical research support for human research studies across a wide range of disciplines, including neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, and clinical translational research. Investigators are supported throughout all phases of MRI research, from study planning and protocol development to image acquisition and participant safety.

 

Equipment

3 Tesla Siemens MAGNETOM Prisma -dedicated MRI scanner with a 60 cm bore

High-performance gradients and advanced RF technology for high-resolution structural, functional, diffusion, and quantitative MRI

NordicNeuroLab fMRI package for MRI-compatible visual and auditory stimulus presentation, response collection, and scanner synchronization

Philips MR400 MRI Patient Care Portal- providing MRI-compatible physiological monitoring, including ECG, heart rate, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), and respiratory monitoring

 

Additional Space

  • Dedicated cognitive testing room for behavioral and neurocognitive assessments and pre-/post-scan experimental tasks
  • Dedicated IV room for intravenous catheter placement and preparation for contrast-enhanced MRI studies
