Sample Collection in Health and Clinical Research Services connects researchers with more than 11,000 square feet of space for advanced sample collection, storage, processing, clinical training and clinical procedural modalities within the Metro Phoenix area. Our facility provides high quality phlebotomy services, sample preparation, sample storage, along with private and semi-private exam rooms, clinical procedure rooms, processing rooms with storage space, and centrifuges with included computer access. We also have the capability to perform ultrasound phlebotomy with reclining phlebotomy chairs for phlebotomy-venipuncture, IV line or fingerstick to support a variety of sample collection, storage, consenting and clinical training needs.

Capabilities

The Health and Clinical Research Services core facility in downtown Phoenix is able to assist with:

• Clinical procedure rooms, clinical sample prep lab and a clinical coordination desk
• Phlebotomy-venipuncture, IV line or fingerstick
• Biopsy procedures
• Ultrasound phlebotomy

At our other location inside of the Health Futures Center, located next to Mayo Clinic Hospital, we offer:

• Clinical procedure rooms, clinical sample prep lab and a clinical coordination desk
• Phlebotomy-venipuncture, IV line or fingerstick
• Private exam rooms
• Group consenting areas with observation rooms

Equipment

Sample collection services located in the Health and Clinical Research Services core facility in downtown Phoenix:

Three private consent rooms, procedure area with reclining phlebotomy chairs, ultrasound phlebotomy, private and semi-private exam rooms, monitoring station with storage space and computer access, processing room with refrigerated centrifuge and biosafety cabinet.
